Three people, including an 8-year-old, were shot in Douglas Wednesday afternoon, according to Chicago police.
A man, woman and child were in the 3400 block of South Martin Luther King Jr. Drive at 4:48 p.m. when a dark SUV approached and at least one person inside started shooting, police said. The child, 8, was hit in her foot and taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in good condition.
The woman, 28, was shot in her knee and taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition, police said. The man, 24, was shot in the arm, chest and groin and was taken to Stroger Hospital, also in good condition.
No one is in custody.
