Three weeks ago, allegations surfaced accusing civil rights leader Cesar Chavez of sexually abusing women and minors.

All across the country, murals and monuments with his face and name were removed practically overnight, and now there are conversations over how to remember the longtime icon.

In Chicago, the National Museum of Mexican Art is having one such conversation. The museum is home to the gray vest worn by Chavez during his 1993 speech in Chicago. The speech took place a week before his death.
